  Our People are Our Company

We employ the best resources in the industry. Resources who not only have excellent technical skills, enterprise level experience and are totally customer focused - but resources who have a great attitude, take ownership and care for what they do. Their biggest critic's are themselves and are principled on continual improvement.

Technology Effect has a focused and specialised Professional Services business model, where the focus is on ‘depth of skills’ in a chosen few key IT infrastructure discipline. The key strategy we have engaged to ensure the long term viability and success of our business is the ‘attraction and retention of the highest quality staff in the business'.

We have set about this process in three ways:

bullet Attract key technical consultants and systems engineers who have a balance of excellent technical capability and most importantly strong leadership and customer service skills.
bullet Build an ‘emerging group’ of skilled staff around each of the lead members of the team and form specialist practices.
bullet Initiate an intake program for emerging and less experienced staff.

It is important to understand that our business has been established to build and retain long term service provision relationships with our clients.

We are constantly ensuring that our staff are trained in current and emerging technologies for companies such as Microsoft, Novell, Cisco and Citrix – as well as related disciplines and technologies. It is not only a pre-requisite of our Vendor Certification but essential for our ability to deliver for our clients. Approximately 5% of revenue has been budgeted for formal external training.
